Jean's Waffles

Jean's Waffles
waffles and scrunchies

Trisha’s Grandma Jean’s waffle were an all time  brunch favorite!  When Trisha was in middle school her grandparents lived right up the street, so often she would visit for lunch! Thursday was always waffle day, a day she never missed! She would invite friends for lunch or return to school with arms full of waffles!

Middle school was the beginning of CEO Trisha and Amanda’s life long friendship! It all started when Trisha would  return after lunch with her waffles in tow and they were a hot commodity with her classmates! Amanda wanted one and had some leverage she was having her 13? Or 14? birthday party ! Back then, this would have been known as the event of the season!

So how do waffles come into play? Amanda  approaches Trish with the ultimate offer “you can come to my birthday party if you give me a waffle” Trisha was SOLD! As a girl that wasn’t apart of the “cool” group Trish was ecstatic to now be invited to the party… and  from there the rest is history!

Now both Trisha and Amanda enjoys this delicious recipe with their families!  The best part of waffles, they are so easy to make! Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside <3

Lastly add in your melted butter and mix until smooth!

If you don’t like waffles or have a waffle maker, feel free to use this recipe for pancakes ! Just heat frying pan on medium heat, pour batter in pan when hot and flip when the pancakes start to bubble!

TRISH TIP: Once you take your waffle out of the waffle maker, set them on a cooling rack for 3-5 minutes. This will allow your waffles to have that perfect crispy outside, and warm fluffy inside. Add butter, syrup, and ENJOY!
